Chicken Transport to Laos

This was probably one of the most exiting transport i ever had in my live and drive many kind of transportations on my travel on many places .But the Transfer Bangkok to Laos was like that.
Taking th night train to the Lao boarder changing to minibus changing them in a rapid jump off jump on just in some no-name villages just trusting that it would be hopefully the right one .This about 3 times and finally on a litle long boat to get on the Island on the Mekong .

Hbut what elseow you pack 22 People on the back of a minibus more a vegetable truck on 10m2 is a LAO art and if run over the streets your back get really hurt after hours of driving without one centimeter too move even just your legs .But we get on the most chili place in the world the island Don Tet with the small fisher huts guesthouses granite for minimal comfort but what else you need .
About 3 hours you have generator cu rent that makes it hard to charge even you batteries of photo or other equipment you have with you like ipod ect. Internet is there for extreme high prises and even more extreme slow that its make it nearly impossible to upload a Photo to your face book or flicker for your friends .That’s why the blog also miss now some of the nice ambient flir pix that i would like to share too .Next city i will ad them .
Don Tet is about just very close to Cambodian border and some called it the last paradise on earth people and nature is like that and time doesn’t exist here .The most common sentence ” i think i will stay one more day ” on this way many stay quite long here and you see some long mustache backpackers here ,there are no shaving stuff available here to .
So i would like to recommend this place as one of the 3 highlights you must be in Laos but on the other way i would prefer it stays as it is quite and undiscovered with very view truism .

Asia Calling

One Extreme fast decision i had made for a Travel to Asia again .As its a huge change going on for next year we wana power up with new spirit and more Asian connections. So the Tankgirl moved on the 24 December to start a travel to Laos ,North Vietnam ,east Thailand and we shortly expand it to visit South china too.
Keep some relaxing days in Kho Chang a little island about 6 hours from Bangkok we dropped there right away after landing .And stay there to keep the new year on a beach place far south of the island ,on some little wooden huts called Cliff hand cottages far simple wood huts but very quite and right up a rock from with you can see the most beautiful sun downer.
Befor we dive deeper in to the land and ethnic places. Getting down from the fast and hectic European time. After about a week we get the feeling that the door opens for us .
Even on the far est spots you find some kind of Internet and even my friend Bebi (Joe) was surprised how many backpack travellers take there laptop with them .So we are not the only crazy ones.
I will tray to fix my mobile to post and upload some snaps to the facebook and Flicker accounts too.
But still minimise the use of all this technical and online stuff as much as possible.
Still need some visas for Laos and china and to repair BePis Nikon lens .
What was impossible in Europe (no spare parts) is here quite simple.
The friendly thai people is a perfect and easy start for this travel.

Tribut too a Cameraman

Some times people forget how they get the reports on there TV screen ,when siting on a dinner with family and friends. This Cameraman lost his life for his work .Doesn’T matter witch nationality race or country a cameraman is from he is the Eyes of the public ,he move to places wher peopel shoud look at ,some times places where wars or other bad things happen too. But without the public eyes in this spots never the world could help or change in a good way at this places. This Reuters cameraman was a local how tray to help his Nation to feed the pictures by working for Reuters .Reuters is probably one of the 2 Biggest news Agencies worldwide many TV stations get there Video footage from them. Even the big ones like CNN or BBC .So never forget the invisible cameraman needs your attention too even when you never will see him befor is dead.
This is personal memory when i have done my first camera work in former yugoslavia for the ORF with Fritz Orter and Antonia Rados and many others .You never want to risk your live but some times it get dangerous ,and when you come home every emergency helicopter feel you fear ,because in that place you come from it was all time a combat helicopter.
Even the solders know the dangerous power of a camera in there operation Field. He will document what will happen .The UNO and the USA would never send troops to support the people there if they don’t see the Pictures of the Cameraman in the first line .
Their military officers come much later and have never that kind of material like the public TV stations produce.
Just one last note , when 6 Solders stand on a place and one cameraman a sniper would shoot first the cameraman than the solders. That’s why some old rules for Journalist like the Charta for Jornalist in War zones how to behalf in War zones due not count anymore .If you are identifiable as Journalist TV or cameraman you are first target for anybody.
Fritz Orter brings out his 2nd Book about the Yugoslavian war ,in the first he mentioned some lines about his camera team too .Thanks for that .

Time Traveler - Stay wher you are ...

Its get hard to travel over the Time by Visions .
Not the traveling is hard .When the journey brings you back to the Reel time it gets hard.
We as Cameraman and Vision holder getting in the pictures we love like drugs we need every time more and more .So I start to travel to other times after i had seen many many places in the world.
Still we never get the reputation like directors get them even if we done most parts of the movie. Time travel are not just in time, they move the speed of of time they transfer the
light where they want it. and even they adjust the viewpoint just to enjoy them self.
and if it works its enjoy the viewer too.

But nobody seen the man behind the machine .
Its a very bloody job no its not a job its a passion.
You can not chuse it you get born for it and you get addicted to it .
There are only 2 way you can get lose it.
1. you gonna lose your live on your shoot.
2. you lose yourself , you destroy you social worth

Both not that nice ...

So just stay where you are moving

the truth

There is nothing than love and there is just love doesnt matter what you due.If you work or stay with a nice girl Some times i miss I miss the friendliness of the Vietnamese People witch i meet i miss the wind witch touch your skin i miss the feelings witch every corner gives you. Its never harsh its never rude. there is no War between the people they had there War .
In Europe every buddy is fighting against somebody
or fighting in the Biz to grow for more income for more money for more and more .
I don't want any more I just want the Truth.

And when its there i will feel it .
I learned something just believe your feelings about 100%
not 90% not 50% you can trust them fully .
Only when you fall on ones on your nose you will know how it feels when its not the truth.

Der Mensch gehört der Erde.

Das leben ist wie in einer Kugel wo auch immer man hingeht man bleibt auf der
Kugel egal wie schnell man sich bewegt man kommt wieder an wo man los ist.
Erst wenn man den Baum sehen kann weiss man das es gleich ist wo man lebt
,wie wichtig ist die Liebe und die Erde.
Ziele und Kämpfe sind für Krieger und wer will schon das ganze leben im Krieg leben.
Ein Israeli den ich mal auf Weltreise traf erzählte mir das dieses eine Jahr wo sie nach Studium und militär um die Welt reisen die einzige zeit in ihrem leben ist ohne Krieg.

Der Mahgreb

Der Mahgreb
Hier sind sicher Leute die mit träumen mehr anfangen können ..
was sie zu sagen haben .. wie viel sie zusagen haben ..

"Habe heute geträumt das ich von einem Araber in einer orientalischen Umgebung geführt werde zu einem heiligen Platz .an welchem sich verschiedene Teilnehmer einbinden werden , um an einer okkulten zeremonie teilzunehmen .
Alle platze sind im freien in einer Art Garten oder Hof mit verschiedenen Polster und kleinen pagoden aus Holz welche Schatten spenden sollen.
Sie sind mit Kissen ausgekleidet um den Gästen es möglichst angenehm zu machen ,in der Mitte des Platzes ist der die größte Platz alle anderen gliedern sich unregelmäßig um diesen Platz herum.
man erklärt mir das dies der Platz des magreb ist des Mediums welches die Zeremonie leiten wird und die fragen
beantworten wird in der Spirituellen Zeremonie.
Auserst Beindruckt durch das ganze .
Es sind noch keine Gäste da so hoffe ich diesem ungewöhnlichen Schauspiel beiwohnen zu dürfen .
Frage vorsichtig wo ich den Platz nehmen dürfte ,als Gast aus dem Ausland den die sprach konnte ich auch nicht .
Da wies mir der in arabischen Kleidern GEWlandete den platz in der Mitte zu . Dies ist dein Platz der Platz des mahgreb .Du bist der mahgreb!
Ich war sehr erschrocken über dies , doch nahm ich platz und alle anderen platzte waren im nu besetzt .
Das nächste an was ich mich erinnere war ein Zustand der trance ein sehr bewusster Zustand wie im drehen eines Kreisels . Fragen in arabischer Sprache wurden gestellt und ich konnte sie beantworten in einer Sprache die ich nie zuvor hörte noch sprach .Es war nicht arabisch oder zumindest nicht das arabisch das ich vom klang kannte.
Es war ein magisches Gefühl doch keine angst oder misstrauen da nur tiefe zentriertheit......
Dann wachte ich auf und versuchte mich zu erinnern ..es nicht zu vergessen . hatte den Eindruck der Traum wollte mir etwas sagen was wichtig für mich sei.
Ich sollte mir maghreb merken so nannten sie mich"

Wenn jemand ähnlich komisches träumte oder sich mit orientalischer Mystik auskennt wäre ich sehr dankbar für jeden Tipp.
